The EdgeMax series includes routers and switches from Ubiquiti, which enjoy great popularity and a solid reputation. These are network infrastructure components used in over 100 countries worldwide. The EdgeMax series consists of 4 routers designed for different customer needs and EdgeSwitch switches.

The EdgeRouter Lite became famous for being the first device of its kind in the world, supporting up to 1 million packets per second, while costing less than $100. The router is equipped with a Dual-Core MIPS64 processor, 2GB of internal storage, and 512MB of DDR2 RAM – these specifications make it an excellent cost-effective choice for small and medium businesses and networks used for basic communication and data exchange.

The EdgeRouter PoE is a device with a built-in switch and 5 configurable PoE ports, designed for more advanced business uses.

The EdgeRouter and EdgeRouter PRO are the most powerful routers in Ubiquiti’s router offering. Both devices are equipped with 8 ports and can be mounted in server racks and on shelves. Supporting over 2 million packets per second and a speed of 8Gbps for 512-byte packets ensures the efficiency and capacity needed in the most advanced computing environments.

Switches are a fundamental component of network infrastructure, and Ubiquiti has not overlooked this in the design of the EdgeSwitch offering. These switches offer exceptional performance in terms of capacity, durability, and reliability. The capacity of models with 24 ports can reach up to 26 Gbps, while versions with 48 ports can reach up to 70 Gbps.

The EdgeSwitch series includes models equipped with 24 ports – 250W and 500W, and 48 ports – 500W and 750W.
